If you can manage to get to London between today and 28th June, do try to go and see all the elephants in situ at the Royal Chelsea Hospital ....
Here's a brief taster ....
Well, greetings from the jungle, the urban jungle ....
Scrapbooking, papercrafts, and scrippety scraps of life
Hi Ali - waves to friend from the almost forgotten past!!! Adore your elephants and more specifically your fab photos of London Town. Not sure I could do it anymoredarling - that smog would kill me. Remember the fumes when walking back from the V&A to the nearest coach station (forgotten name) to come back down to Bristol about 5/6 years ago - yuk! Anyway, love all your photography - you have got the knack. They have some sort of creatures in Bath this year (will have to web search can't for the life of me what beast it was now). Much smaller scale but probably more doable for me - although I think I left it too late this time. Sure they did similar last year though so maybe next, if not this. Darn and drat, don't I ever whitter on!! Loads of love your pal Boo xxx :D
ReplyDeleteHere they are darling - cows!

Pigs the year before - see I couldn't rest until I'd found them - dratted Capricorn tendencies. :D

Hadn't realised I'd missed a few posts. I hate to say it but I have found an Ellie I don't like. :( Sally. :( The hare side is ok but I don't like the other side. Brambles is GORgeous. So bright and funky.
ReplyDeleteThe architectural photos are so important not just for showing non-capital roamers like myself (I really MUST do London one holiday)but also from a historical/social point of view. It will be interesting to see what the landscapes and inside markets etc. look like in 10/20/50 years time. It will be a bit of a miracle if I'm still around in 50 years!
*waving* to Boo who won't have a clue that I'm gillyp! rofl.
Yes, it's lovely to *see* Boo again, isn't it, Gill? :D
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your pictures with those of us who are unable to get to see the Ellies in "real life" . Lx
ReplyDeleteWow, that would have been a great sight to see!
