Chinchilla Show Sideshow Alley

I am gradually working toward getting recent unfinished projects completed before I even begin to think about new ones ...

This CTMH Picture My Life layout was started shortly after the Chinchilla Show which was 23rd May this year.  However, life and circumstances got in the way, and I had cropped all the photos I wanted to use, adhered them to bits of paper, and had to leave the embellishing till another time.  So over the last few days, I have been adding stamping and bits and pieces in order to get these layouts completed.
Left hand page

Right hand page

None of the photos were brilliant, and they were all snapped so quickly, so they could easily be cropped down to this style of page.  I didn't have a lot more to say, so I could easily limit the journaling to one Project Life card and let the photos speak for themselves.

I love the vibrancy and bright colours of the Free to be Me paper pack, but most of the paper doesn't take direct stamping, as there is an embossed pattern on the solid colour pages.  I rectified the stamping here by going over the colour with a permanent pen.

Most of the stamping was onto white card, which was then adhered onto the pages - more colour contrast that way.  I also outlined the "Cherish This" stamped image with a matching Promarker (an alcohol marker like Shin Han) so that it stood out a little bit against the busy background.

The boys were by far the smallest children on this tall inflatable slide, but they showed no fear - they were squealing with delight, which makes me so happy to see.

Here's what the layouts look like side by side:
